If you answered yes to any of these questions, consider joining the Hawk Shop staff next year, the 2021-2022 school year. The Hawk Shop is a student ran school store. The student staff makes the decisions and the teacher provides guidance. This is an Internship based class that offers real-life experience and is great to put on a resume. This class earns you high school credit and has many service hour opportunities. You can be admitted into the Hawk Shop by a small and simple interview process. You can find the application HERE.

- Seniors are remindedten hours of community service is required for graduation. Turn in your hours to your counselor in room 1402 or via email. You will not graduate if you don’t complete your ten hours. There is a service distinction if you complete 100 hours.
- Juniors in AP Calculus are reminded if you are planning to take math at Carthage or UW Parkside in the fall you must submit the completed paperwork by March 1. You need to turn in your typed and hand signed hard copy to your counselor by the deadline. Late paperwork will not be accepted. See your counselor if you have any questions.
- The school board approved allowing two adult spectators per athlete at Kenosha games. This policy will be for home games and away games at Tremper and Bradford.
– Each athlete will receive a google form where he/she will list two spectators. The spectators must be adults over the age of 18.
– Spectators must be prepared to show identification when they arrive to verify their names on the guest list.
– The spectators should not arrive earlier than 10 minutes before the schedule game time. They will not be allowed to enter the gym until the spectators from the previous game have been cleared, which will be done after games at each level. Spectators may not stay to watch games in which their athlete is not on the roster.
– Masks and social distancing will be required at all times.
– If athletes wish to change their approved spectators, they can go back to the google form and make changes. This must be completed by noon on the day of the game.
– Entrance to the games will be free for the approved spectators. - Sophomores and Juniors interested in taking College Classes (ECCP) at Carthage, Gateway, Herzing or Parkside in the Fall of 2021 are reminded that applications are due to your counselor March 1. Paperwork must be TYPED and you must meet all of the prerequisites. If you have questions email Ms. Schroeder maschroe@kusd.edu or your counselor.

- RISING EDUCATORS PROGRAM
Juniors and Seniors who are interested in the field of education there is an opportunity for you take a class at Carthage that will set you on your way now. You will earn college and high school credit. The program is called Rising Educators and it is designed to introduce high school students to the introductory courses in the education program at Carthage and Parkside. You will earn the credits and it is free to you. You need to fill out and sign the application and return it to your counselor. The deadline to turn in applications is January 5.
